These valve springs make it possible to push back the maximum RPMs achievable by the engine, and therefore the maximum power achievable and usable by the engine ( power = torque x engine speed ).
The valve spring set consists of 16 reinforced springs. No modifications to the original parts (retainers, spring seats, washers, valves or camshafts) are required, however a performance camshaft works very well with these springs, further increasing the maximum achievable power.
