With a performance camshaft, you can gain a few extra horsepower, as well as better acceleration from opening the valves longer and at higher lift to fill and vent gases better.
Installation of reinforced springs is recommended for this install, to allow you to make the most of the high RPM range (>5200 rpm).
Remapping is strongly recommended for the install of this type of part. It is absolutely necessary to replace the timing belt during this operation, otherwise there is a risk of it snapping.
